this is the life...

today, i did got some studying done for the second time this semester. i love studying abroad. even though we're always in class, its so easy to get by without doing any work outside of class. professors don't grade assignments nor do they grade based on participation. i've gotten so lazy since i've been in Nice-its gonna be so hard adjusting back to real college next semester. :( not to mention that ill still be under 21 for another year. being legal here is so convenient. for the past 2 months, weve been going out like 5 times a week. each bar would host a weekly "ladies' night" offering unlimited champagne for 3 Euro, until a few weeks ago when the French government enacted prohibiting open bars at certain hours. the purpse was to combat alcoholism, especially in young people. Going out so much has been tiring enought, that we've only sortir-ed once thie past week. even now, its 2AM on a saturday nite, which really means 3AM on sunday morning cuz of daylight savings. anyway, if i havent already mentioned this, the wine here is amazing!! its so cheap--you can get a decent bottle for less than 3 Euro. Im really going to miss the cheap, delicious wine here..and being able to buy it myself. Im definitely learning to appreciate red wine a little more...and cats, omg. Croquette loves me and i have no idea why. shell come up to me and start licking and rubbbing the side of her face on my shoes. at least she doesnt jump on my bed anymore, leaving her cat hair everywhere. in the begnning my roommate would make fun of me having to pet animals and deal with them. Croquette is really cute--she talks a lot always recognizes us. anyway, im soooo sleepy, as it is now 3AM and cant seem to stay awake.
