almost spring breakkk!!

so our spring break just started, but i dont leave for my voyages until monday niteeee!! thats in 3 days!! i was kinda sad today cuz my deuxieme buddy, rachel v., left for her vacances wednesday nite and we have like all our classes together. :( yesterday's weather was awful, but thursdays are my rachel-h.-lunch-date days (cuz katherine, aka coche, which is short for cochon, skipped), so it wasnt so bad. i hadnt exercised since hiking in corsica last saturday, so i figured i should go jogging. well it just so happens that the one morning i decide to go jogging, its raining. well, a little bit of rain cant hurt..except that it starts to pour once i get out to the prom. the raindrops were coming down so hard that my face hurt!! but i saw a few other people jogging too, and they were really old, so watevs. when i got back home, i was drenched in rain. thank god for spandex jogging pants, cuz i only had to lay out my hoodie..and socks..and shoes. i felt really good after that jog, but i got really sleepy after taking a nice warm shower. i ended up being like 20 minutes late to etudes de textes cuz i lost track of time in the shower. i always feel bad coming in late to that class cuz our professor, Monsieur Bourdin, is the sweetest guy ever. i wish he were my grandpa. and thursdays are never complete without lunch at the Resto-U, so rachel and i headed over and ended up staying so long that they had to kick us out. oh how we love the Resto-U...then it got really sunny and warm, and she and i walked the hour to vieux nice, cuz i had to go to the library, and she lives right next to it. we stopped by a pharmacie to pick up some meds for coche cuz shes sick. :( then of course it starts to rain again..nice weather is crazy..then half way home when i still have another 10 minutes to walk, it starts pouring rain..and i run into erin, whos on her way to H&M. normally, i wouldve gone with her, but my jeans and flats were soaking wet, like i had little puddles in my shoes. i had to wear the flats cuz my sneakers were already wet from jogging. so i headed home, washed up, hung up my jeans to dry, and put my flats on the heater. nice weather is ridiculous..and after erin gets back home, it starts to hail!! the hail here is tiny tho, not like the huge rocks back at home. anyways, yeaa that was my awesome thursday. i got a lot of internship/scholarhips application stuff done and turned in, which was pretty nice. staying in on weeknights does pay off. im so excited for spring break..ive been doing some last-minute planning/researching how to occupy ourselves. its gonna be me, michelle, maddy, and dan in lisbon, barcelona, marrakesh, and a bit of dublin too. 3 more days!!
